A Letter to Our Communities: Thank You, and What Comes Next

For more than four decades, our family has had the privilege of serving our communities through eye care, craftsmanship, and personal connection. From first pairs of glasses to lifelong patients, from small conversations at the counter to generations walking through our doors, these stores have been more than businesses. They have been part of our lives.

Today, we want to share an important update.

We have officially sold our two  of 3 of our retail optical stores, An Optical Galleria.

This decision was not made lightly. It came after deep reflection on where we have been, what we have built together, and where we are being called to go next.

Why We Made This Decision

After decades of hands-on care, we recognized it was time to pass the torch to ensure these locations continue to thrive under new ownership while we focus our energy on the next chapter of our journey. Dr. Carpenter is the proud new owner of those 2 eyecare practices.

This transition allows the stores to move forward with fresh leadership while honoring the foundation that was built with integrity, expertise, and heart.

Most importantly, our communities will continue to receive quality care and service.

While this chapter closes, our story is far from over.

Our passion for vision, design, and innovation remains stronger than ever. We will continue to focus on building, creating, and growing An Optical Galleria in Ocean City and Hook Optics Premium Polarized Sunglasses.
